PRODUCT FEATURES

Formulated from pumice, perlite, expanded clay aggregates and various elements adapted to construction technologies, KF-T 0200 is used in new constructions or existing buildings. It is applied directly to surfaces, both on old and new buildings, to insulate the floor without the need for a classic screed, providing insulation and leveling at low costs. It is a light, environmentally friendly and high-quality composite insulation screed that performs leveling and insulation of facades, especially providing sound insulation. It can be used in white and gray.

NEED TO PAY ATTENTION

1. THE ENTIRE PACKAGING of Thermolock products must be used after opening. It must not be mixed with a shovel, trowel, etc., but only with a mixer or machine.
2. Never use more water than prescribed.
3. The surface to be applied must be firm, clean, dry and dust-free.
4. Surfaces that intensively absorb water must be dried sufficiently, and in the case of water saturation, they must be dried as much as possible before applying Thermolock.
5. Do not use on underfloor heating systems as it may weaken heat transfer.
6. Weather conditions must be suitable for application. (+1 / +40 degrees Celsius) The product must not be exposed to temperatures below zero during application and for the first seven hours afterwards. Also, it must be protected from rain, snow, hail, etc. during 24 hours.
7. If the prepared mortar stays in the tank or container for too long and loses its consistency, do not add water under any circumstances. It is enough to mix the mortar again with a low-speed mixer to restore the consistency.
8. Thermolock KF-T 0200 A1 acoustic composite thermal insulation screed provides heat, sound and fire insulation, but does not provide waterproofing.

SPECIAL FEATURES

• Wood – prevents absorption, closes pores and ensures a better bond with mineral materials.
• Plastic – creates an adhesive layer on a smooth surface where otherwise plasters/screeds would not stick.
• Glass – allows the Thermolock material to stick, because glass normally has no roughness.
• Metal – additionally protects against corrosion and ensures adhesion of thermal/waterproofing layers.
